A stack is a carefully curated group of books around a theme. We do the hard work of selecting titles that belong together, so you can gift with confidence, knowing your recipient will only have great options to choose from.
You can choose how to give it:
By email: we send your recipient a gift email, either straight away or on a date you choose.
By printable certificate: you receive a gift certificate with a unique code to print or forward yourself, ideal for tucking into a card.
Either way, your recipient uses the link or code to open their personal gift page and choose their books.
Your recipient has two months to choose. If we email the gift for you, the two months start from the day the email is sent, and we'll send gentle reminders as the deadline approaches. If you choose the printable certificate, the two months start from the date of purchase, so please bear this in mind if you're buying early. The expiry date is always shown on the gift email or certificate.
No. Your recipient won't see any prices. They'll simply see the books available to them and how many they've been gifted.
Yes. You only need their email address, or none at all if you choose the printable certificate. Your recipient enters their own delivery address after choosing their books.
Yes. You can send the gift email instantly, or schedule it for any date up to 60 days ahead, so you never miss a birthday or special occasion.
Delivery is free on gifts of £30 or more per recipient. For gifts under £30, delivery is £3.99, added at checkout, so your recipient never pays anything.
If you're gifting more than one stack to the same person, the total for that person counts towards the £30. If you're gifting to several people, delivery is calculated separately for each recipient.
Once your recipient has made their choice, please allow up to 7 days for their books to arrive. Because every stack offers a choice, we order each book in once we know their pick, then pack it by hand and send it on its way.
The gift itself isn’t held up. It arrives by email on the day you choose, or straight away as a printable certificate, so the moment of giving is always on time.
