Where we deliver
We currently deliver to UK addresses only. If your recipient lives abroad but has a UK address they can use, such as a family member's, they're welcome to have their books sent there.
How delivery works
Your recipient chooses their books and enters their own delivery address on their personal gift page. We then pack their chosen books and send them straight to their door, ready to enjoy.
Delivery costs
Delivery is free on gifts of £30 or more per recipient. For gifts under £30, delivery is £3.99, added at checkout, so your recipient never pays anything.
If you're gifting more than one stack to the same person, the total for that person counts towards the £30. If you're gifting to several people, delivery is calculated separately for each recipient.
If your recipient chooses to add extra books when confirming their choices, there's no extra delivery charge.
Delivery times
Once your recipient has made their choice, please allow up to 7 days for their books to arrive. Because every stack offers a choice, we order each book in once we know their pick, then pack it by hand and send it on its way.
The gift itself isn’t held up. It arrives by email on the day you choose, or straight away as a printable certificate, so the moment of giving is always on time.
Missing parcels
We send all orders by Royal Mail Tracked 48. If a parcel hasn't arrived within 7 days of their choice, please email support@chapterandchoice.co.uk and we'll look into it.
Damaged books
We're sorry if a book arrives damaged. Please email a photo to support@chapterandchoice.co.uk within 5 days of delivery and we'll send a replacement.
Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel your gift for a full refund within 14 days of purchase, as long as your recipient hasn't yet chosen their books. To cancel, email support@chapterandchoice.co.uk with your order number. We'll refund you to your original payment method within 14 days of your cancellation.
Once books have been chosen and dispatched, our returns policy below applies.
Returns
We can only accept returns for books that arrive damaged. If this happens, please follow the steps under 'Damaged books' above and we'll send a replacement.
Unclaimed gifts
Your recipient has two months to choose their books. Unclaimed gifts expire on the date shown on the gift email or certificate, and are not refundable.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
